In this large-scale installation, a vibrant printed textile curtain—measuring 10 meters high and 20 meters wide—will cover the entire glass façade of Yamanashi Chuo Bank's Yoshida Branch. This marks the largest textile work ever produced by Suzuki, making it a landmark exhibition in his career.

Artist Profile: 鈴木マサル / Masaru Suzuki
Since 2004, Masaru Suzuki has directed the fabric brand OTTAIPNU.
For 17 years, he has supervised the Fujiyama Textile Project, an industry–academia collaboration between textile factories in the Fujiyoshida–Nishikatsura region and Tokyo Zokei University.
Focusing on vividly colored printed fabrics, Suzuki’s collections highlight the inherent charm of textiles themselves.
Beyond his own brand, he has created textile products for international labels such as Marimekko, Camper, and UNIQLO.
His design practice extends beyond textiles into furniture, interiors, and architecture, always grounded in the expressive potential of pattern and fabric.
